Victoria’s flower tables are the result of a shared passion with Giuseppina, her grandmother.
Giuseppina was a creative lady with a deep interest for flowers.
On her way back to Italy after a long trip to Mexico, at the end of the seventies, she created the first flower table in collaboration with local artisans. The tables were rigorously designed and painted by her. For more then thirty years she painted “flowers”,“treasures”, to be shared with the people she loved.
Her granddaughter and apprentice Victoria, graduated in Business Cultural Management. After several experiences in contemporary art travelling around Europe and Mexico, decided once back to Italy, to realize a project she had with her late grandmother.
Victoria presented at Rossana Orlandi their flower collection: Poppy, Pansy and Lily. This collection was exhibited for the first time during the Milan Design Week in 2015 at Rossana Orlandi’s Gallery.
Every piece designed by Victoria Episcopo is unique.
The creation is made in collaboration with local craftsmen. The blacksmith forges the leaves of the stand, the woodworker carves the shape of the flower. The materials used preserve the fragility of the flower making the table resistant even outdoor. The quality of the wood, the iron and the paint guarantee the durability of the work and its style.
